May Selection: INVINCIBLE FORCE
INVINCIBLE FORCE documents a man’s incredible transformation from slovenly man-child to infallible titan. Schneidkraut says, “I'm constantly bewildered by humanity and our irrational compulsion towards cycles of useless bestial behavior and Invincible Force is a product of that bewilderment.”
Internationally renowned writer/director Dan Schneidkraut (Based in Minneapolis, MN) uses 8 different cameras in the making of video feature, INVINCIBLE FORCE. INVINCIBLE FORCE was produced using only formats of video that are considered obsolete; including but not limited to VHS, VHS-C, Betamax, 8mm Analog, Hi8, Digital 8 and Mini-DV. “The language of film is dying and being replaced by the language of technology, so, in a deliberate act of defiance I’ve acquired a pile of obsolete video cameras and invented a language of my own,” says Schneidkraut.
