The Prince of Puke. The Duke of Dirt. The Pope of Trash: since exploding onto the film scene in the early 1970s, queer icon John Waters transformed the world of cinema with his transgressive, surreal and wild satirical films. This retrospective includes four of his works, all collaborations with drag queen Divine: the exercise in poor taste that is PINK FLAMINGOS, pitch black crime comedy FEMALE TROUBLE, housewife satire POLYESTER, and certified musical classic HAIRSPRAY.
